Game 80: Matter (Tangram)

Home

These days you can find just about any game on Flash. Tangram is the classic Chinese game where you have to combine seven differently shaped pieces to make them match a figure that’s presented to you, which is exactly what Matter is a flash version of. A highly addictive game, and if you're anything like MrSwampy, you'll keep trying to beat your times! Enjoy!

Game 39: Zilch

Home

There's something wildly addictive about dice throws. It feels like there should be a skill to it. There MUST be a skill to it. Why do we keep failing then? Why haven’t we got 'the knack'.
String together a sequence of dice throws. Pick when to bank the points. Build your score up as quickly as possible. Break the 10000 mark first. Hope your opponent fails. There's even going to be a play online option at some point.
Like the brutally addictive 'real world' game Yahtzee - you WILL lose days to this!

Follow the on screen instructions, but all you need is your trusty mouse to win at this one.
Don't get cocky... if the comp gets a couple of 1500 scores on the trot it can all go pear-shaped.

Game 37: Fowl Words

Home

OK, so a version of the word-making round from Countdown, but set on a farm, doesn't sound too inspiring... but the option to gamble against the time limit and funny cartoon chickens make this a surprisingly gripping challenge!
Instead of Carol Vorderman you get 7 chickens with letters on, then you have two minutes to rearrange them into as many different words as you can (using American spellings, bugger). The game asks you now and again to pay to unlock the "Power Player" options, but to be honest I have enough problems guessing the 7-letter words on the free version!

Game 20: Quadradius

Home

Quadradius is an online, multiplayer, turn-based game that takes the skeleton of the board game checkers, and pumps it up with a massive list of power-ups and new strategies that turns the game into an addictive and very compelling new concept. In fact, calling it checkers is an oversimplification that does not do it any justice. The best way to see what I mean is to jump in and have a go for yourself.

- Don't worry about reading instructions, click here for a 99 second video tutorial. It tells you everything you need to know, in, you guessed it, 99 seconds.

- Sometimes you have to wait a minute or two for opponents to join the game when playing as a guest. The game will make a sound to notify you when more players join, so feel free to check your facebook while you wait!

Game 17: InkLink

Home

Remember the big Pictionary craze of years gone by? That's the party game where one player sketches a word or phrase while other people with absolutely nothing better to do try to be the first to guess the mystery item.
Well now, thanks to the clever kids at Shockwave, InkLink brings to the Internet all the excitement of Pictionary, without the need to invite the in-laws over, and the inevitable arguments that follow. You can just jump in and compete against strangers from around the world in the special gaming chatroom.
To get started click on the picture above, press the 'play online' button, enter one of the usernames below, then just hit 'play online' again and the game should load in a new window.

You do need a Shockwave.com username and password; if you don't have one, don't worry, please feel free to use one of the usernames listed below.

You may need to install Shockwave Player (different to Flash Player) if the game isn't loading for you; you can do that by clicking here

Game 15: Risk

Home

Take over the world in this 'puterised version of the classic board game.
For those of you not geeky enough to already know the score here; You're the General, and it's your duty to invade neighbouring countries and defend your lands against enemy attack. RISK has always been a secret geeky addiction of mine, and this online version is definately a decent recreation. Use your mouse to choose territories and roll the dice. Protect and invade in an effort to dominate the world!

For more detailed instructions check out the in-game help under 'Play' -> 'Menu' -> 'Rules'.

Game 8: Flash Element TD

Home
The aim of this great little Warcraft-themed, tower defense game is to kill everything that moves, from sheep to evil bosses (aka. Creeps) before they reach the end of the maze. You do this by building attacking towers on the grass around the maze. At the beginning you can build only basic towers, to build advanced ones you have to do some research using wood, you receive one wood after every 7 waves of Creeps.
Flash Element TD is yet another addictive little game, one which I have spent far too long playing, so now it's time to pass it on to you guys... Good luck!
