Game 83: Indestructotank

Home

As you probably guessed, in this game, you get to drive an indestructible tank around. Once attacked by enemies’ bombs, the tank will be blasted into the sky and you will be able to hit the helicopters and planes. The more enemies you manage to take down on a single combo, the more points you earn. Make sure to reach the required experience points before your fuel ends.

Game 68: Cannon Defense

Home

In what is now a very cluttered market, its not often that a desktop defender stands out from the crowd but this offering adds some interesting elements to a tired genre that keeps you coming back for more. Normally money is the key to unlock new items, but in this game it's a mixture of how many units you have built and how many you have destroyed. You also have air units to contend with which poses problems if you haven't built any anti-air turrets. Also have a selection of special weapons that come available once you have built them, like nuclear bombs and like.

Game 58: Warfare 1917

Home

War isn't fair. This is a fact that you become painfully (although less painfully than in real war I imagine) aware of once you get into Warfare 1917. Set in the trenches at the end of WWI you can choose to take control of either the British or the Germans and you must deploy your troops in order to push the enemy back and claim their territory.
As you progress (surprisingly quickly) through the ranks and levels, you are awarded new troops to play with, new barrage weapons to control, and eventually a tank to rumble forward with under your command. Be careful though, as in the heat of battle your troops can be struck with fear should too many of their comrades fall by their side. Your country needs you!

Controls:
Click on the troop type of your choice and wait until loads, when it will join the battle. Then you can choose another troop - some take longer to reload than others, but all options will reset themselves when you choose a new troop. Click the switch at the bottom of the trench to see the contents of that trench and to choose when to go over the top (only 3 troops per trench).
It might sount complicated, but it's easy once in the game.

Game 40: Final Ninja Zero

Home

Big thanks to Iñigo for recommending this groovy game!
Nitrome's Final Ninja Zero is a prequel to Final Ninja, browser-based platform game of year 2008. It's 20 more levels of explosions, stealth, and lasers, with plenty of new surprises to befuddle and destroy you.
Zero tells the story of our hero Takeshi 40 years before the vendetta against his master Akuma, back when he worked as a mercenary for the espionage department of a powerful mega-corporation. During his first mission against rival Food Pharma Corp, a mission which somehow involves both samurai and hamburgers, a mysterious force incapacitates him, and he finds himself imprisoned within blah blah blah blah there are cyborg ninja monkeys!
Did you hear me? Cyborg. Ninja. Monkeys. Play this game and you get to fight them.
You also get to dodge behind pipes to hide from snipers, you get to disguise yourself as a surprisingly nimble scientist, and you get to hack into remote-controlled mines and fly them around like your own personal carrier pigeons made of dynamite.
This development team proves they possess the powers of incredible action-adventure. The rest of the internet would do well to infiltrate their lair and steal their secret.

Steer your ninja with the [Arrow] keys or [WASD]. Aim and throw stars by tapping the mouse button. Hold the button to extend a climbing rope that sticks into walls. Press [Down] to activate your cloaking device, which is a very cool effect that warps lasers around you, and of course prevents sensors from spotting you and setting off nasty alarms.

Game 35: Shadez - The Black Operations

Home

In this real time strategy game you are "the General of a mercenary force hired by the governments around the world to fight the wars they don't want to fight." Excited yet?!
Rather than the A-Team you control a beautifully rendered army of soldiers with an increasingly powerful arsenal of weaponry. As you choose your troops and artillery wisely, they stream from left to right across the misty, Vietnam-esque landscape battling whatever approaches from right to left. With enough scope to keep you involved for hours on end, this could be another job-destroyer. Don't blame me.

Have your clicking finger at the ready and unleash hell. Click on the various options across the bottom to pick troops, arrange air strikes, roll in the artillery and more. All in the name of death... War is an expensive business!

Plan for the future... just having missiles doesn't mean you have to use them... but as long as you have them, then you can use them if things get hairy. Don't think the opponents are gonna hold back!

Game 20: Quadradius

Home

Quadradius is an online, multiplayer, turn-based game that takes the skeleton of the board game checkers, and pumps it up with a massive list of power-ups and new strategies that turns the game into an addictive and very compelling new concept. In fact, calling it checkers is an oversimplification that does not do it any justice. The best way to see what I mean is to jump in and have a go for yourself.

- Don't worry about reading instructions, click here for a 99 second video tutorial. It tells you everything you need to know, in, you guessed it, 99 seconds.

- Sometimes you have to wait a minute or two for opponents to join the game when playing as a guest. The game will make a sound to notify you when more players join, so feel free to check your facebook while you wait!

Game 15: Risk

Home

Take over the world in this 'puterised version of the classic board game.
For those of you not geeky enough to already know the score here; You're the General, and it's your duty to invade neighbouring countries and defend your lands against enemy attack. RISK has always been a secret geeky addiction of mine, and this online version is definately a decent recreation. Use your mouse to choose territories and roll the dice. Protect and invade in an effort to dominate the world!

For more detailed instructions check out the in-game help under 'Play' -> 'Menu' -> 'Rules'.

Game 8: Flash Element TD

Home
The aim of this great little Warcraft-themed, tower defense game is to kill everything that moves, from sheep to evil bosses (aka. Creeps) before they reach the end of the maze. You do this by building attacking towers on the grass around the maze. At the beginning you can build only basic towers, to build advanced ones you have to do some research using wood, you receive one wood after every 7 waves of Creeps.
Flash Element TD is yet another addictive little game, one which I have spent far too long playing, so now it's time to pass it on to you guys... Good luck!

Place the cursor over the different options in-game for more detailed information.

Game 7: Treasure of Cutlass Reef

Home

Ahoy mateys! Here we be havin' a game fit for all you fellow pirates out there! Your the Captain of this fine pirate ship and you need to use your nautical skills to manuver and attack the enemy fleet, plundering the treasure! I've played loads of piratey games online, and I think Treasure of Cutlass Reef is up there with the best, though perhaps not playable for long periods of time? Still though, I enjoy it a lot and I hope you do too!
Check out the 'How To Play?' menu in-game, it'll only take 30 seconds and will help a lot.

Here are a few tips for you;
Try to engage as many ships as you can, because plundering a captured ship gives you more gold than destroying it and then plundering the wreck (though keep an eye on your crew numbers).
You can pause the game during battle with the P key.
If the game runs slowly with many ships on the scene, go into the options screen, and decrease the quality and particles number. It can drastically improve the performance.
If you spend more gold on crew on the first levels, you can engage more ships, which means more gold.
Enemy ships look out not to shoot at each other, but with some nasty maneuvers you can draw their fire on each other!
